Enjoy Amsterdam, because you are in walking distance from the city centre and the famous canals and Jordaan (Anne Frank House, 12 min.). I live in Westerpark with the famous Cultural Westergasfabriek park within walking distance. Also Prinseneiland for a walk is very rewarding.. You'll find yourself in Little Venice. There is always something to do or experience.
Personal guided tour: 2,5 hours by bike through Amsterdam, €30,- (exclusive bike rental).
Westerpark has enough restaurants, cafes and bars, 2 cinemas, and much more. You can go the Leidseplein and/or Van Gogh museum by tram 10 or 3.
At arrival I can give you your first directions where to find a good and payable meal and sit and enjoy it with the locals. Additional I can give you information of renting bikes (the best way to travel in Amsterdam).

I only book people that are travelling solo or together like couples, friends and family (max. 2). So no strangers in your booked room. It is a no smoking and drugs free room and apartement. The 'open kitchen' is situated in my private space, thé other room. So sorry, no use of the kitchen; In your room is a watercooker, free coffee and tea.
Minimum stay 3 nights to several weeks, or max. 1 month.
To be clear: This is a bedroom in a small two room apartment (42 m2). I live in the main room at the back. Your room is at the front. Only the bathroom can be locked, so it is based on trust. There is no pass-through. Your privacy is guaranteed.

We have accomodation for maximum 4 people at this lovely apartment. I am there sometimes to work during the day. Most of the time the whole apartment is empty and are the guests all on their own. So they can use all the facilities.We have parking availiblity.Location:The apartment is situated right west of the center of Amsterdam, near the famous quarter: De Jordaan and next to the Westerpark.The quarter of the apartment is called: De Staatsliedenbuurt , as all streets are named after famous Dutch statesmen. The De Wittenkade (Quay white) is named after the two brothers de Wit.AvailabilityYour apartment:The estate has approximately 60 apartments. Your apartment is on the ground floor. The entire surface area is about 100m2. It includes two bedrooms, a living room, an open kitchen, a bathroom (with shower and bath) and a toilet. At the back is a terrace next to the communal garden. It is a very nice and quiet spot in Amsterdam. Bicycles and a parking space are available on request.*host-occupied spaceRates:The normal rate is € 40 per person per night, all included. You can ask after special and seasonal rates at the time you plan your visit.The Staatslieden quarter:There are canals at the front and the back of the building. The one at the back is a busy thoroughfare for ships.Shops and supermarkets are just around the corner. Public transport, e.g. the tramcar, is just a minute s walk away. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the famous Jordaan quarter and about twenty minutes to walk to Dam square, while passing the streets of the Jordaan with its small shops and many restaurants.It is possible to park your car in a locked parking place underneath the building.
